The team behind EC.DATA
EC.DATA is a privately held company headquartered in Latin America with engineering, commercial, and field-services teams operating across multiple time zones. The team combines energy consultants, field commissioning engineers, firmware developers, data scientists, and product designers, with a deliberate hiring policy that requires every senior product role to have prior experience on the customer side of an energy programme — facility management, utility account management, ESCO delivery, or industrial energy coordination.
That mix of disciplines is why EC.DATA's roadmap is grounded in field realities rather than in abstract product thinking. When we evaluate whether a feature is worth shipping, the test is not "would it look good in a demo" — the test is "would it have saved the team or our customers a 2 a.m. call last quarter". The same standard applies to every dashboard widget, every alert rule, and every line of generated report content.
