How EC.DATA handles personal data

The Privacy Policy describes the categories of personal data EC.DATA collects when a person interacts with the platform, the website, or our sales and support channels. Categories include account identifiers (name, business email, role, employer), platform telemetry (login activity, feature usage, support tickets), and any information voluntarily submitted in support requests, surveys, or marketing engagements. EC.DATA does not sell personal data and does not use customer telemetry for advertising purposes.

Personal data is processed on the legal bases set out for each processing activity: contractual necessity for account administration, legitimate interest for security and fraud prevention, and consent for marketing communications and optional analytics cookies. Customer data routed through the platform on behalf of a customer is processed under the data processing agreement that forms part of the Master Services Agreement and is governed by the customer's instructions.

Individuals can exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection by submitting a Data Subject Request through the dedicated form on this site. Requests are acknowledged within five business days and resolved within thirty days, in line with GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and other applicable regulations. The Privacy Policy is reviewed at least annually and whenever a material change in processing activity is made.
