Smart Energy Alerts — Anomaly Detection & Notifications
Configure threshold, schedule, and ML-based alerts across your energy portfolio. Catch demand spikes, equipment faults, and tariff violations before they hit your bill.
Alert Types
- Threshold alerts — Trigger when energy, demand, or temperature exceeds limits
- Schedule alerts — Detect energy usage outside expected operating hours
- ML anomaly detection — AI identifies unusual consumption patterns automatically
- Equipment fault alerts — Monitor compressor, motor, and HVAC performance indicators
- Tariff violation alerts — Flag power factor penalties and demand limit exceedances
Notification Channels
Email, SMS, WhatsApp, in-app notifications, webhook integrations, and Slack/Teams connectors.
Catch anomalies before they become utility bills
Most facility issues that inflate energy bills — a stuck damper, a failed compressor stage, an after-hours lighting schedule that never got updated, a tariff switch that changed the demand window — show up in telemetry long before they show up in a utility invoice. EC.Alerts monitors every sub-meter, setpoint, and derived KPI from EC.EMS and EC.BMS continuously and notifies the right person the moment a deviation appears.
Detection combines threshold rules, baseline comparison (weekday 2 p.m. should not be 40% above its typical value), and machine-learning anomaly models from EC.GAIA trained on each circuit's own history. False-positive suppression, escalation chains, and on-call rotations are configurable per building.
Notifications route through email, SMS, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and webhooks; acknowledgements and resolutions are tracked to produce a monthly operations report showing how many issues were caught, how quickly they were closed, and what they would have cost if unnoticed.
