From first meeting to measured savings, step by step

Every EC.DATA engagement follows a six-phase lifecycle: discover, design, deploy, commission, operate, and verify. Discovery starts with a site walkthrough and 12 months of utility bills, from which we build a preliminary Solution Design with an ROI envelope and a metering plan.

Design is produced collaboratively in the Solution Design Studio — a drag-and-drop canvas where the final BOM, wiring diagram, and Modbus register map come out together. Once approved, EC.Node gateways ship pre-configured; field installers clip on CTs, plug in the RS-485 trunk, and the cloud sees telemetry within minutes of first power-up.

Commissioning validates each meter against the utility bill and against independent spot measurements. The baseline is then locked, alerts are tuned, and the operating phase begins. Monthly IPMVP reports document savings with statistical confidence, and quarterly reviews with the EC.DATA energy team keep the programme aligned with the customer's operational and financial goals.
