Cold Chain IoT Monitoring — Temperature & Humidity Compliance | EC.DATA
Cold Chain IoT Monitoring
Track temperature and humidity across refrigerated transport, warehouses, and display cases. Automated HACCP compliance reports and excursion alerts.
Cold Chain Features
- Real-time temperature and humidity monitoring across the cold chain
- Refrigerated truck and container tracking with GPS integration
- Walk-in cooler and freezer monitoring with door-open alerts
- Display case temperature profiling for retail compliance
- Automated HACCP compliance reports and excursion documentation
- Configurable alerts: temperature excursion, power failure, door-open
End-to-end monitoring from cold storage through distribution
Cold-chain failures are expensive twice over: the product loss from an excursion, and the regulatory exposure from not being able to prove compliance. Cold Chain wraps sub-zero and ambient-refrigerated storage, walk-in freezers, reefer trailers, last-mile delivery, and retail display cases in a single continuous record — a recurring theme in our supermarket and quick-service restaurant deployments.
Probes cover room, product, and defrost sensors; EC.Node gateways aggregate them locally; and the cloud produces HACCP-compliant audit logs, excursion alerts with automatic escalation via EC.Alerts, and monthly regulator-ready reports. Mobile assets (trailers, vans) use LTE-M EC.Node variants with GPS for in-transit traceability.
The same telemetry feeds energy analytics: condenser-approach temperatures, defrost-cycle efficiency, and door-open events are all visible in EC.EMS dashboards so refrigeration running-cost is managed alongside food safety in a single pane of glass.
